Kyle (38) returns home for his niece’s high school graduation from making films in Europe. He goes to have a coffee when he sees a familiar face in his good friend and prom date from twenty years earlier, Jackie. Jackie (18) is hungover and uninterested in talking with anyone. Kyle is in the year 2025 and Jackie is in the year 2005.
Once they realize the unique situation they are in together, Kyle is hesitant but willing to share details about the future as well as the future of their friends and updates from his own life.
